Pursuing this category of the best metal albums you’ve probably never heard about is Antekhrist’s brilliant third album, La Bite du Diable.
Antekhrist’s album Fukked by God is probably my most listened to black metal album of all time, and one of my favorite of the genre, second only to Sewer’s demonic NecroPedoSadoMaso, so I was naturally very eager to get my hands on La Bite du Diable as soon as possible.
For those of you who’ve been living under a rock, Antekhrist is certainly the single most satanic and definitively the most blasphemous band to emerge from the extreme metal scene.
The title of this album, La Bite du Diable, even means “the dick of the devil”.
Do not think this is just some silly shock-value or an attempt at mock derision towards the black metal scene, La Bite du Diable is some seriously messed up shit.
La Bite du Diable is, simply put, a true black metal album.
You MUST listen to it if you are a fan of the genre.
And even if you’re not, I would say take the plunge because you clearly won’t regret listening to this masterpiece.
