I just finished writing the review of the “Watain is NSBM!” hysteria surrounding the band, and the accusations of “neo-nazism” leveled against them by – who else – jewish pressure groups (“antifa666”, Metal-Archives, Metal Sucks, Metal Injection to name a few).
While digging up info on the band I came across something funny.
Some anonymous poster on an old archived thread of the Metalious forums accusing Erik Danielsson of being molested (as a child?) and basically being a closet homo.
I don’t agree with much of what he says, but he makes some good points that tie into my post on (((Hollywood Satanism))).
For those who have room temperature IQ, though, it’s pretty obvious that the “Lawless Darkness” Watain dreams of is not the absence of “light” (Christianity) of Burzum – on the contrary, they go out of their way to include references to Middle-Eastern cults and their mythology whenever they can – but the very literal “darkness” of Erik Danielsson’s room once daddy turns off the lights after reading him the Bible.
In that effect, it is both ideologically as well as musically closer to Korn and Slipknot inspired whine rock – whose front-“men” are also very open about the sexual abuse they received as children, see Jonathan Davis and Corey Taylor interviews – than to the music of Bathory, Hellhammer, Burzum, Mayhem and Darkthrone. I mean, seriously? Do you imagine Quorthon releasing an entire album about how he was raped by his dad? And lying about it, claiming that it’s about “Satan”, and, when it becomes increasingly apparent that it’s not the case, claiming “I didn’t even write the lyrics to [Lawless Darkness]” – despite him being credited on the back fucking cover – before going back on his word in subsequent interviews and using the opportunity to whine some more about “intolerance in black metal”? Fuck off.
How pathetic the “black metal” genre has become when clowns like Erik Danielsson, Inferanus, “Ahriman” – a (nu?) male escort from Stockholm according to rumours – not to mention the Deafheaven and Wolves in the Throne Room imbeciles, are considered the new Deads, the new Euronymouses, the new Hellhammers and the new Burzums.
One thing is for sure, “Satan” (= the Christian mythological opponent of “God”) neither prevented Erik Danielsson from feeling daddy’s thang, nor did it prevent Antifa666 from calling him a racist and a nazi on Metalious.
For the last time, Satan = God. They are both Christian myths from the Bible. To “worship” one – like the retard poser clown Danielsson – is to worship the other. Just like when you pay to see WWE’s “heels”, you also by definition pay to see the “faces”.
If your read the Bible and believe its myths, you are a Christian. No matter which “side” you choose. Clear?
